Herd Health: Routine visits to farm to evaluate overall health status of your herd or flock.
These visits may include regular vaccination and deworming, dehorning kids, castrating bucks
and rams, checking for pregnancies, trimming hooves and treating sick animals.goat

 

Reproduction: We are equipped with the most up-to-date portable ultrasound machine to determine pregnancy in your sheep, goats, and camelids. We are also trained and equipped to aid in dystocias of any sort, including those in need of C-section.
 

Nutrition: Thorough evaluation and consultation of your herd's ration to establish the most balanced and efficient diet for your herd or flock.
 

Protocol Management: Development and implementation of sustainable and effective protocols for disease recognition and management for all life-stages of your herd, including pneumonia, metritis, mastitis, deworming, hoof care, etc.
 

Health Certificates and Disease Screening: Dr. Lisa accreditated in three states, we are well equipped to fulfill all your needs in certifying sheep, goats, and camelids for in-state, out-of-state, and international shows and sales. We are trained to screen for disease and equipped with resources to manage and protect your herd of flock in the face of an outbreak.
 

Disease Treatment: Our well equipped mobile units and 24/7 large animal emergency service allows us to diagnose and treat your animals in a complete and timely manner. We provide on-farm and in-house testing for pneumonia, mastitis, parasites, and much more. Our online pharmacy allows you to order medication needed for your herd or flock at your convenience and for the most competitive prices.
 

Surgery: Our mobile units contain fully stocked surgery kits to perform sanitary and effective surgeries on-farm. Surgeries include castration, C-section, hernia correction, claw amputation, eye removal, laceration repair and much more.

 

Please Note Scheduled services will always come with a barn call fee based on distance (within a 50 mile radius of Litchfield, CT) and an emergency fee of $100 if unscheduled.
Services are all based on time.
